Fashion Design at Chanapatana

FASHION
DESIGN

Students learn the process, skills, and language of fashion design from concept through production: progressing from basic drawing and design fundamentals through textile technology, pattern making, and garment construction.

IN ENGLISH
  • Technical Proficiency: Technical drawing, sewing, flat pattern making, draping, and garment construction for womenswear and menswear.
  • Creative Development: Freehand sketching, fashion illustration, fabric manipulation, and original concept creation.
  • Historical & Cultural Context: Fashion and art history, textile behaviour, and cultural narratives to inform design.
  • Digital & Presentation Skills: Style boards, spec drawings, and digital portfolios using industry tools.
  • Sustainability & Branding: Ethical fashion practices, branding systems, and a capstone thesis project.

DESIGN

A comprehensive program covering basic design, history of art and architecture, freehand drawing, research and development, and interior design studios: to create innovative design solutions and professional portfolios.

IN ENGLISH
  • Technical Drawing & Conceptual Skills: Architectural drafting, furniture design plans, and visual communication in hand and digital techniques.
  • Creative & Aesthetic Development: Design fundamentals, historical art analysis, and studio projects in residential and retail design.
  • Digital & 3D Proficiency: AutoCAD and SketchUp for 3D models, interior renderings, and digital design workflows.
  • Material & Product Innovation: Furniture, finishes, and product design applying ergonomics, spatial planning, and industry standards.
  • Sustainability & Identity Systems: Personal brand system, portfolio, and a capstone hospitality interior design project.

Macedonia

A fashion designer with over 20 years of industry experience and 10 years in education. He earned a Master in Fashion as Art from Accademia Italiana, Florence, and worked with Sergio Tacchini, Aspesi, and MAX&Co.

Jelena Sinclair
JELENA SINCLAIR
Serbia

An architect and educator with extensive experience in interior design and creative education across Asia and Europe. Holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Belgrade.

Daniel Martínez
DANIEL MARTÍNEZ
Spain

A designer and educator with over 10 years of experience in luxury and design. Holds a Master of Luxury from ECAL, Switzerland. Taught internationally. Recipient of the Prix Émile Hermès.
